Life Time Offers Options to Boulder Peak Athletes

Within 24 hours of being forced to cancel the 2016 Boulder Peak Triathlon. Life Time notified the registrants with the following email:
Thank you for your patience as we’ve evaluated the best opportunity to support all 2016 registrants in light of today’s unprecedented event cancellation.
As it relates to all 2016 Life Time Tri Boulder Peak registrants, we are offering the following deferral options:
1. Defer your 2016 entry to the 2017 Life Time Tri Boulder Peak (Sunday, July 9) free of charge.
2. Transfer your entry to one of the remaining 2016 Life Time Tri Series events listed below (any distance, individual or relay), free of charge:
Life Time Tri Maple Grove (MN) – August 27
Transamerica Chicago Triathlon (IL) – August 28
Life Time Tri Tempe (AZ) – September 18
Mack Cycle Escape to Miami Triathlon (FL) – September 25
General registration for the 2017 event will open in the coming weeks.
As many of you know, Boulder County is our home, and the majority of our own staff are athletes like you. While we are incredibly disappointed by the circumstances, we support the decision, and are absolutely humbled by your collective concern for those affected by the wildfires.
This was destined to be a big year for the Peak, but we promise to bottle-up that enthusiasm and return bigger and better in 2017. Count on it.
In the meantime, we will continue to monitor the needs of the Boulder Office of Emergency Management, and make the proper contribution when requested. We ask you to do the same. Stay in the know: boulderoem.com
