RMTC Experiences Challenge Roth

When you ask most triathletes what race is on their bucket list, the IRONMAN World Championships in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii usually come to mind. But there is another race that is almost as coveted as Kona. Challenge Roth in Munich, Germany attracts the world’s best triathletes for many reasons. The amazing energy from spectators, beautiful scenery along the course, professional athlete line-up that rivals the IMWC, all together provides a world-class racing experience.

This year’s race attracted a mighty contingent of athletes from Colorado. Representing various Colorado racing teams with all being Rocky Mountain Triathlon Club members were Jay Coon, Ted Dunst, Michelle Hildebrand, Bill Ludington, Michelle Morovitz, and David Poole.

It's OFFICIAL: IRONMAN extends partnership with Boulder for two more years

BOULDER, Colo./TAMPA, Fla. (August 2, 2016) – IRONMAN, the City of Boulder and the Boulder Convention and Visitors Bureau announced today they have agreed to extend their partnership for an additional two years with the continuation of the IRONMAN® 70.3® Boulder and IRONMAN® Boulder triathlons in 2017 and 2018. This agreement will move IRONMAN Boulder to a June race date and the IRONMAN 70.3 Boulder back to its historic date in August...

IRONMAN Foundation Giving Back To Boulder Region

The IRONMAN Foundation® will distribute $50,000 in charitable giveback to non-profit initiatives and groups in the greater Boulder region in conjunction with the 2016 Blueprint for Athletes IRONMAN® Boulder triathlon taking place on Sunday, August 7, 2016. With this most recent donation from The IRONMAN Foundation, a total of $70,000 has been given back to the Boulder community this year. The IRONMAN Foundation Community Fund provides community and volunteerism grant opportunities to non-profit organizations where IRONMAN events are held. The IRONMAN Foundation’s contribution will provide support to non-profit needs and initiatives within the local community, and brings the total giveback to more than $470,000 in the region. In 2016, The IRONMAN Foundation will distribute more than $1.6 million in grant funding to support the needs of IRONMAN race communities across North America.
